Dora’s educational background begins with a BA, MS, and MBA all from Cornell University. She then went on to gain certifications in Spinning, AFAA, TRX, TRX Sports Medicine and Trigger Point Therapy. Dora has taught spinning and indoor cycling classes in the East Bay since 2001. She has also taught TRX suspension training classes for three years at health clubs in the East Bay and provides one-on-one training to clients at Precision Sports Medicine for rehabilitation.
Dora is a triathlete who trains and races with the Forward Motion Race Club based in Danvile. She is on the race club’s Ambassador Team. Her focus is on Ironman distance races, consisting of 2.4 mile swims, 112 mile bike rides, and a full marathon (26.2 miles) Dora has placed in the top ten in her age-group in six Ironman distance races, most recently Ironman Tahoe. She has also received first-place age group wins at the Pac Grove Olympic distance triathlon and the Big Kahuna Half Ironman, as well as a second place age-group win at Wildflower Long Course.
